How do I translate the GigaTribe software into my language?
Open the translation tool: Linguist
- Install GigaTribe version 3.
A file named linguist.exe has been created in the installation folder. - Open the linguist.exe file to start your translation.

Create a target language file
- Open an existing language file as your source language file. For example: Gigatribe_en.ts
- Change the settings according to your target language:
Edit / Translation Files setting
In the target language bloc:
Select your language. For example: ‘Italian´.
Select ‘Any country´ for the country/Region combo box - Save the file as a new file. For example: Gigatribe_italian.ts
Conduct a quick test by translating the new language displayed in GigaTribe
- Select the string used to translate your new language:
Context=Ktranslator
Strings=System (Make sure you select System with a Capital ‘S´) - Enter the target language as it will be displayed to the final user.
- Validate your entry with Ctrl+Enter
- Click on ‘File/Save´ and then ‘File/release´
- Open GigaTribe and check to see if your new language is available.
